Enhanced Pandemic Response

As discussed in the previous announcement, in light of the current concerns surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak and out of an abundance of caution, the Board of Directors has continued to monitor the situation. Having previously  canceled all group events including previously approved group use requests, classes, orientations, and meetings until April 27, the Board is now closing ALL RANGES and FACILITIES including the Chapter House, the Rifle/Pistol Range, the Shotgun Range, the Archery Ranges (3D and 2D), and all pavilions. The grounds remain open for walking and fishing.

The Chapter grounds will remain open for walking and fishing for the moment. The Board asks  that all members conscientiously abide by these restrictions and cautions that these restrictions are designed to be the least restrictive while maintaining access to the grounds. A violation of these restrictions will result in the closure of the entire property.

This does not mean that the Chapter is closed at this time. The Chapter will remain open for individual and family use, under the above parameters, during this time, however, for the time being, members may not bring guests.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation in this. Please stay safe and healthy out there.

If a member has tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that they voluntarily inform the Board via an email to directors@lcciwla.org so that appropriate action, if any, may be taken to safeguard the wellbeing of the broader membership.

The Board further urges members to abide by the recommendations of the CDC (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html), Virginia Department of Health (http://www.vdh.virginia.gov/surveillance-and-investigation/novel-coronavirus/), and the Loudoun County Department of Health and Human Services (https://www.loudoun.gov/5307/Coronavirus).
